LOGOUT[/HOLD] The LOGOUT command logs you off of the system. You should log off of the system when you are through using it so that nobody else can use the system under your account. If the terminal you are using is in a public terminal area, logging off of the system allows someone else to make use of that terminal. You do not have to type the full command. LO will do. The /HOLD qualifier holds a remote or DECnet line after logout. The default is /NOHOLD. When you log off of the system, all of your allocated and mounted devices are deallocated and dismounted, and all nonprivileged tasks and certain privileged tasks running on your terminal are aborted. If [1,2]SYSLOGOUT.CMD exists, it is submitted to the indirect command processor. On RSX-11M-PLUS systems with Resource Accounting active, you will be told how long you have been logged into the system, the amount of CPU time you have used, and the number of tasks you have run.
