To stop system accounting, use the command file: @[1,7]STOPACC This file will ask: "Do you want to summarize the data now?" The default answer is Yes, because this will save the data which has just been collected, reduce it to just the items which need to be saved, and purge out the oldest files. Summarizing should take less than two minutes. If you answer No, the data will still be available, but must be processed later manually before the files are purged. Accounting can also be stopped directly with the STOP/ACCOUNTING command, but this will not summarize the data or purge files. For more information type HELP ACCOUNTING STOP for the system help file.
