Gee, I don't know, but I've got to go home now and oil my router bits! 
Seriously, Trendlines is giving you a crock.  I've never oiled any
router bearings and never had a failure.  

Doesn't Trendlines have a satisfaction guarantee?  If so, return it, buy
a new one and see if you have any better luck.  Alternatively call your
local Porter Cable repair center and find out about your warrantee.  If
you don't know where your service center is, call 800-223-PART which is
the Delta/P.C. repair hot line.  They should be able to tell you what to do.
They might even just ship you a new bearing for the bit in the mail.
