MEMORANDUM FOR NEW ENGLAND ENERGY TASK FORCE (NEETF)
SUBJECT:  DECEMBER 20, 1994 TASK FORCE MEETING

The regular third Tuesday afternoon monthly meeting of
the NEETF will begin at 1:30 PM on December 20th in
Conference Rooms on the eleventh floor at One Congress
Street in Boston, MA.

Organization and Work Group Coordinators will report as
appropriate on current activities, accomplishments and
challenges.  Our goal is to promote more efficient energy
use and a better balanced energy resource system to
assure an adequate supply of energy at reasonable costs.
The following reports are prescheduled:

-  ELECTRIC VEHICLES (EV) - - - JAMES HOGARTH, Boston
Edison EV Product Manager, will discuss status, plans and
projections for EV's in New England and across the U.S.
-  REGIONAL ENERGY STRATEGY - - - STEVE LEAHY, New
England Governor's Conference Regional Energy Planning
Project Manager, will discuss status and plans for
completion of Phase II of this project.
-  COMMUNITY ENERGY PLANNING - - - MATTHEW PATRICK, Cape
& Islands Self Reliance Corporation Executive Director,
will discuss the development and implementation status of
the Barnstable County Energy Management Plan.
-  URBAN ENVIRONMENT AND ENERGY - - - DIANE WILLON,
Senior Science Developer of Urban Ecology & Community
Programs at the Boston, MA Children's Museum, will
highlight plans for a new exhibit focussing on the urban
environment and energy related sustainability features
and issues.

The meeting will adjourn by 4:00 p.m.  Minutes and roster

request.
