We understand that scientists, researchers, clinicians, and activists doing important work in the "real world" don't have time to read email. Others individuals have a support group mailing list or news group that they are a loyal member of, and are already inundated by email. For over a year, now, we have been publishing Toxups, an email toxics newsletter, for just these busy people. Some, however, would like more, and more timely, information on these issues. For these we will be offering the toxup-w wire service. To subscribe to this new wire service, email to listserv@netcom.com the message: subscribe toxup-w your_email_address Welcome to toxup-w !!! ========= Internet Access Lists Available Obtaining INTERNET ACCESS is a problem for many involved in health and disability issues, not to mention liberation movements in general. Over the past year or two, we have been collecting information on Internet access which would be useful to many such individuals around the country and world. In order to make this information more readily available, we have set up an autoresponder to provide it via return email. To obtain the 5 Internet Access Lists which we can currently provide within the constraints of copyright, and a pointer to a sixth list, send an email message to samcfadd@netcom.com with the Subject: INFO REQ and the body GET IAL PKG . The request must have a literal match on the subject line in order to be recognized as a request, and must have a literal match in the body in order to obtain the proper response. The size of the returned package of 6 messages is 424KB, including 5 lists with lengths varying between 16KB and 155KB. Message size may be a problem for users on some service providers. Good luck, Stephen A. McFadden samcfadd@netcom.com
