For those unfamiliar with the operation of discussion lists (experts please ignore): 1) When reading a WELSH-L posting, if you hit the 'reply' button your message will be sent to *all* subscribers on the list, not just to the originator of the posting. 2) If you're going to be away on holiday and don't want your mailbox filling up while you're away, you can temporarily turn off WELSH-L messages by sending the following message to LISTSERV@IRLEARN (or whatever address you use for IRLEARN): SET WELSH-L NOMAIL On your return, you can turn the messages on again by sending (to the Listserv, not to WELSH-L itself): SET WELSH-L MAIL Those desperate to catch up on missed messages can retrieve the monthly archive files by sending (to the Listserv, not to WELSH-L): GET WELSH-L LOG9307 for example, to get the archive for July.
