Please help me recover my good nights' sleep by reminding me why the Mad Mag sentences are funny. I can no longer decifer them, tho I remember Mad, and even revered its cleverness :-) . I believe these are Yiddishisms and am currently researching relationships between Jewish and Welsh speech patterns, tho less from a semantic than a sociological p.o.v. This may be out of the realm of this group, and I don't want to tie it up with wrong stuff; please use a mail reply if you think I'm out of bounds posting here. Thanks. Jan Sedaka
