Interested in Welsh language, music, literature, folk dance, clogging and hwyl? Check out this year's Welsh Heritage Week, July 17 - 24 at King's College (University of Western Ontario) in London, Ontario. The week includes daily Welsh language classes (the basis for everything else) at all levels and a variety of "elective" in singing, harp, literature and history as well as instrumental workshops, folk dancing and the opportunity to have private lessons in voice, harp and other instruments. Evening activities will include a visit to a rugby match, noson lawen, eisteddfod and story telling. The week concludes with a Sunday Gymanfa Ganu. Teachers include John Albert Evans, Gareth Jones, Mari Morgan and Arwel Treharne from Wales, and Chicago harpist Liz Cifani.
