I'm sure that, when I was in school, I was taught something to the effect that a pronoun always provoked a soft mutation, but as Konstantin (and others) rightly point out a pronoun is usually (as in this case) followed by an implied 'yn' and it is indeed the 'yn' which provokes the mutation in this case.
