sullivand@A1PEKING.SUBURB.RDGMTS.MTS.DEC.COM From: David Sullivan Subject: Conjugation of verbs X-To: welsh-l@irlearn.ucd.ie To: Multiple recipients of list WELSH-L [This message is converted from WPS-PLUS to ASCII] While I was in France I picked up a smallish book called "Conjugaison" (Larousse, 9 782038 000115, 38FF in the hypermarket) which divides the French verbs into 115 distinct types and then gives the _whole_ of every tense of each of them. It also gives pronunciations and variants. The index then lists ten thousand (!) verbs and points each at the defined verb of its type. The book is 197 mm by 135 mm and about 16 mm thick (it's a hardback with fairly thick covers). Is there an equivalent book for Welsh verbs ? (Preferably an English-based or bilingual one). (Sorry about the iaith fain but my Welsh is at about the "Cat sat on the mat" stage, except that it isn't that good!!) Pob hwyl, Dave Sullivan (no, I'm not Irish!) PS: What *does* the French verb "wobbuler" mean ?
