We are an >_Historical_Re-creation_Society_ (a non-profit _educational_ organisation, > BTW), not a Fantasy Role-playing Group. If FRP people feel interest in knowing some Welsh, or Breton or other, i think it's good thing, especially if it allows some of them to go further in the use and knowledge of our languages and cultures. If a language is used (for any reason) by various social groups I think it's much more important for it's "life" than figures upon the number of speakers. Latin died although it was still employed by the church with quite a lot of people but out of wide social life, and the Inuit languages have always lived upon few thousands (hundreds !?) of people. a.c.
