Justin F. asks about why there is so much more apparant interest in the learning of Welsh than there is in the learning of Scots. There are undoubtedly MANY reasons to be considered but the two I would suspect to be most common, either individually or in combination, are mere awareness of Welsh as a language (at least on this side of the waters), and the common belief that the legendary Arthur very likely lived in what is now Wales. It is unfortunate that there is not more interest in Scots or Irish. Ancient material written in these two languages are probably the best insight we have into ancient Celtic/Gaulic culture and society. Keith -- ___________________ LOST: One mind, medium sized, grey.
