My instinct on the matter of wales subverting from england is that any group of people who want to separate from a larger body of people have the freedom to do so as a natural right. As an american I feel america as a culture is no more than a child and envy the the peoples of that group of islands just off of the north sea the advantage of growing up where the culture is thousands of years old. There is no question in my mind that opression is involved here. And I have been wanting someone to tell me about that man owain glyndwr who seems to be symbol of welsh opposition to english opression but did not know who to ask. I wish I could have said all this in welsh. anna chenoweth=annac@netcom.com
