This is the 6-stanza lullaby beginning "Huna > blentyn ar wy mynwes." (Many indexes give false hits returning other > Suo Gans). If you want to look at their computer catalogue the best way is to log-on to the library computer at the University of Wales Aberystwyth [address - lib.aber.ac.uk, log-on as: library], choose the "External Services" option, then "External Network Access" and follow the prompts. To get out from any point, follow NLW system prompts to start a new search, then enter 8 and repeat the last command until it lets you out. Be prepared to switch off your machine as a last resort - it's not a well-designed interface ! Other "features" include a disabled backspace key and lack of help screens. To save you this hassle, see below for details of your book. NLW is a copyright library for the UK and has been entitled to all UK material since 1983/4 but has been a copyright library for Wales since the founding in c.1906. The computer catalogue contains all items added since 1983 but stuff before that is being added as a retrospective conversion, & you may well know how unreliable THAT is as measure of comprehensiveness ! Write to them if you still can't find what you're after; NB: if you can't trust your written Welsh, find someone to translate your letter for you, that will help your request along. If you need contact names, ask me & I'll pass them to you. I've found a record of the book you're after. There is a copy of Part 1 only, shelfmark XM1740.B915(4to) - quote this number in all correspondence and it should help things along mightily. They will never lend items in stock, but they may be prepared to do you a photocopy - see recent messages for how to pay in sterling. They *may* be able to cope with a US $ cheque but would still prefer not to have to pay the bank charges, this IS Cardiganshire :) [old county name - inhabitants are meaner with their money than Scotsmen/Jews/ Yorkshiremen etc. :) ] Hope this has helped, Fran Disbury Hugh Owen Library, UWA
