From abroad you should put GB, UK or whatever, and within the UK (which was the original Subject), you just need the county. You wouldn't - one hopes - address something to "England" (any more than to "Savannah, Georgia, the Deep South" or "Oakland, California, the West Coast") so why to Wales/Cymru? Having said that, I did once receive a letter addressed simply to "Bangor" plus post-code, which arrived, presumably via Bangor-on-Dee in Northern Ireland, bearing the immortal annotation "TRY WALES". Ar bwnc arall, mae'r "National Lottery" newydd (Loteri Genedlaethol?) ar fin cychwyn ym Mhrydain, oedd bron a+ bod yr unig ran o Ewrop heb y fath beth. Dw innau yn bersonol yn teimlo mai dim ond esgys i'r gwleidyddwyr am roi llai o arian i'r celfyddydau a.y.b. mai hwnnw - ond oes rhywun yn gwbod os bydd Cymru neu'r Gymraeg yn cael unrhyw lles? Harri
