On any list serving _minority languages_, the argument value of such figures as you quote above must be considered as inverse!:-) J'aimerai bien lire plus de causeries en Franc,ais, for two reasons: (1) selfishness--as as you can see from my poor French, I would benefit from increased exposure; (2) curiosity--debates between Bretons, in French, about Breton linguistics would interest me, as would very brief news items in French about the Breton language movement.
