Hi all my fellow welsh lovers.... I came across the follow two abstract sentences that I found confusing as I was reading. This is actually a case for the language experts: The two sentences mean the same...but are written differently...why is this ?? The sentences are: Mi fyddai hi yn galw i'n gweld ni bron bob nos. AND Mi wnai hi alw i'n gweld ni bron bob nos. I know this means the following: She would call to see us almost every night. Then another two sentences I found..also meaning the same...but written differen tly..please help with this as well: 'Roedd ef heb ddarllen y llyfr. AND Nid oedd ef wedi darllen y llyr. This means: He had not read the book. I hope you can all help me..and why is this that two sentences mean the same... is it as in English that you can use different words that mean the same ? Please advise. Thanks, S.Brewer. The Welshman stuck in South africa for another year....
