As for addresses, the only course I can think of is the BBC's Catchphrase series, broadcast on BBC Radio Cymru weekday evenings @ about 9-45pm. It's in 4 parts (the fourth has just been started, taught by one of the women who was learning on the 3rd level programme last year). The 1st part is for total beginners, who have little or no previous knowledge of Welsh other than perhaps ordering a pint in the pub, or: "Giggs...GOAL!!!" (cf. last night's match ;-]). The 2nd level is slightly more advanced, it deals with more complicated gramatical constructions, more advanced communication, etc. The 3rd is for advanced learners (& native speakers like me who need to brush up on their grammar!), and deals with Welsh in everyday life, at work, at home, wherever. Since the fourth level course has only just been announced I don't know what it will be covering. If you want details of these courses I can only suggest that if nobody else has any further details you could write to the BBC, address as follows: ?Catchphrase BBC Radio Cymru Llandaf Caerdydd CF5 ?2YQ Cymru This should be the correct address, it should get there anyway! It might help if when you write you mention that you've already completed two courses. Hope it's useful... Pob Hwyl Huw Huw Garan (NJ152@uk.ac.lampeter)
