[ Right. This is positively the last time I write in English to Welsh-l. Befo re the Holidays I was quite sympathetic to it, but my mind has been changed c ompletely by the deluge of "sorry this is in English but.." letters. This is a WELSH LANGUAGE mailing list. Don't you realise the liberties you are taking here? If you have a point to make, make it in Welsh, however bad. If you can not be bothered to string a few words together from a dictionary or the on li ne lexicon, then I must question your motivation and commitment. No one said it was easy. Discussion is being stifled - there's so much traffic in transla tion, and dictionaries, and surnames, and... Please, just shut up. Go to celtic-l, it has all that sort of stuff. Welsh cu lture could do with being represented there. This lists primary function is t o talk in Welsh. No more English, please! Your expectation of others to adapt to you is what is killing off half the world's languages. I respect your int erest, but you're going about it the wrong way. I feel as if I've alienated t he half of you, but to be honest, some of you needed it. Don't be pedantic, o r scared about what you write - just enjoy USING WELSH, for goodness sake!
