Mame-loshn '96 will take place Memorial Day Weekend, which this year is concurrent with Shavuot. The holiday begins Thursday night, and continues through Sunday of the long weekend. In consideration of everyone's needs, please let us know which of the following applies to you and your family. Check all that apply (use handy reply form at end of document). 1. I would not attend during Shavuot. 2. I would attend, provided that: a. I would not have to travel during the holiday b. Religious observance of the holiday would take place on site. 3. I would not participate in educational programming during Shavuot. 4. I would passively participate in all programming during the holiday. 5. I would participate as long as I could arrive before sundown on Thursday. We are considering several sites for the program, taking into account cost, facilities, and location. Under consideration now are two University dormitory facilities, one of which is in a Christian college, called Sacred Heart. The food will be Kosher, under the supervision of a Mashgiakh, and would be vegetarian or dairy at either site. 1. I would not stay in a Christian facility. 2. I would perfer not to stay in a Christian facility. 3. The name or ownership of the facility is irrelevant. 4. If it were to save me $60 for the weekend, I would consider staying in a Christian facility.
