Title IV, SEC. 4105. MORATORIUM ON DESIGNATION OF ADDITIONAL LONG-TERM CARE HOSPITALS. Notwithstanding clause (iv) of section 1886(d)(1)(B) of the Social Security Act, a hospital which has an average inpatient length of stay (as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services) of greater than 25 days shall not be treated as a hospital described in such clause for purposes of title XVIII of such Act unless the hospital was treated as a hospital described in such clause for purposes of such title as of the date of the enactment of this Act.
