Dr. Lora Abell, MD wrote an article for Resonance (The Magazine of the
International Foundation for Homeopathy) in the Jan, 1992 which discusses
teh impact of Chaos Theory on our understanding of homeopathic medicine.
She writes: "Chaos Theoru, for the fiest time in the history of modern
science, provides a framework for understanding how a sequence of vry
small perturbations to a system, such as that instituted by the potentized
remedy, can actually stabilize a system, or return a body to its normal
functioning."

Dr. Abell is a faculty member in the Department of Family Practice at the
University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. The article was a short
article, but I thought I would dig it out and let you know about it.

The further implication of Chaos theory to homeopathy, unfortunately, is
that it is inherently non-reproducible - this must be so if the effect is
the result of sensitive dependance on initial conditions. As Deepak Chopra
said - if water is capable of remembering a substance which was once there
then it is also capable of forgetting.
