At the same time, new standards organizations such as the Computer- Based Patient Records Institute (CPRO) and Health Information Standards Planning Panel (HISPP) are making progress on issues which will affect developers and implementators throughout the world. In addition, proposals for new legislation in the United States may serve as models in Europe and Asia. As a result, it is important for every person interested in the computerization of medical record processes to experience the latest developments first hand. SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM This international symposium will be a platform to analyze vendors and observe the progress made by the organizations involved in creating the environment for electronic patient records. Approximately 150 speakers will present to an audience of more than 750 people over four days. This event has a greater demand as our society moves toward Electronic Patient Records. REGISTRATION Registration fees are US$ 495. If registrations are cancelled before Decemberl 1, 1992, payments will be refunded in full. Thereafter, a US$ 120 cancellation charge will be deducted.
