RAMON U.S. MARSHAL FOR THE CENTRAL DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA President Clinton today announced his intention to nominate Michael R. Ramon of California to be the United States Marshal for the Central District of California. Mr. Ramon has served as the Deputy U.S. Marshal in San Francisco since 1979. In addition, he currently serves as a criminal investigator with the Court Security Division of the United States Marshals Service in San Francisco. Prior to this position, he served in the United States Air Force from 1975 until 1978. He was a Police Assistant with the Concord, California Police Department in 1974. Michael R. Ramon was born on December 17, 1952 in Macon, Missouri. He received a Bachelor of Science from California State University in Sacramento, California in 1988.
