THE WHITE HOUSE Office of the Press Secretary ________________________________________________________________________ For Immediate Release March 23, 1995 PRESIDENT CLINTON HOLDS FORUM WITH COLLEGE NEWSPAPER REPORTERS President Clinton today holds a forum with college newspaper reporters from across the country as part of the first White House "College Media Day." The day includes a series of briefings for student reporters by cabinet members and Administration officials on education, the economy, crime and other issues of importance to college age Americans. During the forum with college reporters, the President will discuss his Administration's commitment to protecting student loans, national service and other issues benefitting working families. Those unable to participate in college media day at the White House may listen to and record the President's forum live by calling 202-833-0860 at 12:55 p.m. EST.
