AND CHARLES A. DOCTER TO THE PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION Today the President named Melvin E. Clark, Jr. and Charles A. Docter to the Pennsylvania Avenue Development Corporation Board of Directors. Melvin E. Clark, Jr. of the District of Columbia is the President and Chief Executive Officer of METROPLEX Corporation, the largest minority railroad construction contractor in the nation. He currently serves as a member of the U.S. Small Business Administration's Advisory Council, the National Coalition of Minority Businesses, the National Association of Minority Business, the National Association of Minority Contractors and the Washington/Baltimore Chapter of the Young President's Organization. Charles A. Docter of the District of Columbia has practiced law for 35 years and is the President of Docter & Docter, P.C., a bankruptcy firm. Mr. Docter has also served in the Maryland House of Delegates. He presently resides at 801 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W. and is a member of the Mayor's Arena Planning and Design Task Force. The Pennsylvania Avenue Development Corporation was established in order to develop, maintain and protect real property along Pennsylvania Avenue between the Capitol and the White House in the District of Columbia. The Corporation is authorized to transfer title to, interests in, or jurisdiction over real property which is acquired by the Corporation to any agency of the United States or the District of Columbia. -30-30-30-
