tksysv
v0.8

-----------------------------------------------------

tksysv is a simple runlevel editor for SYSV init.

Be warned, it does not cache changes. When you change
something, it's changed. It does store a backup
of your /etc/rc.d tree in /tmp/tksysv/rc.d, so
you can restore it with:

cp -arf /tmp/tksysv/rc.d /etc

It makes this copy every time you run it, so don't
messup, restart, and then try and recover.

Operation
=========

It's operation is very simple and intuitive. If you
want to add a service to a runlevel, just select
the service from the "Available" list on the left with
your right mouse button. Then tell it whether you
want to start or stop that service and in wich
runlevel. You will then be given a list of all the
other services and what their numbers are (see
Help->SysV_Init for a description of what the
numbers mean). You can then enter a number for
your service and click "Apply". That's it.

To remove on a service, select the service you want
to remove from it's runlevel and click the "Remove"
button.

You can also Edit a particular runlevel. Click an
item in the runlevel to edit or just click
the edit button.

To execute one of the scripts, select something from the
available menu and click the "Execute" button.
You will then be presented with a menu of options.
You can start, stop, or cancel.
