5. ``info'' Pages

Many programmers have found ``man'' to be too constrictive and hard to use for complex programs. When this is the case, they usually write ``info'' pages. Those can be viewed with the info program. If you have used one of the methods above to find documentation and have found that you need to read the info pages (on gcc, for example), you would do something like:

info gcc
