2003-09-25 -+- phil -+- -+- I downloaded the demo version of Textmaker on September 23, and
found it utterly brilliant. I think the reviewer confused network
performance with Textmaker performance in the review... graphical
applications typically update s-l-o-w-l-y over the network ;^)

I bought a single license for Textmaker and am lobbying hard on
my boss to get a site license... Textmaker imports and exports
word 2000 documents, and handles TTF font glitches much more
gracefully than Abiword, besides being more featureful. -+- 131.215.115.34 = Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030630 2003-09-26 -+- Rick -+- -+- This product is clearly aimed at those of us who have to co-exist in a Windows world, and at this it excels. It has been very good with heavily formatted/poorly formatted Word documents -- far better than OpenOffice 1.03 and still somewhat better than the release candidate of 1.1 -- I need this product and I bought it. -+- 24.103.90.5 = Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624
