FDISK v0.4 (first alpha release) - 21.9.95
==========================================

As you can see from the above, this is the first alpha release of my
version of the FDISK disk partitioning program, and as such there will
almost certainly be problems with it, so please take note of the
following:

- Above all, BE CAREFUL. As with any program that plays directly with
your disk if any errors occur data can be lost. Please back-up any
important data before use.

- All values are currently expressed in Sectors and Cylinders, rather
than Megabytes.

- At the moment FDISK makes no attempt to validate any values you enter
into it (ie. If you tell it to create a new partition at sector X
that's where it will put it, regardless of any data already there).

- FDISK does not reboot your PC after any changes are made. You will
need to do this yourself.

- The colour scheme may be hideous, for which I apologise. My excuse is
that I've only seen it on a grey-scale monitor.

- The code should handle more than one disc drive being present,
although I've not tried this.

Please send any bug reports, suggestions, queries, etc. to

    Chris.
