3D PRODUCTS AND SERVICES Timothy Klein timk@meaddata.com Revision 1.1 8 April 1993 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright 1993 by Timothy M. Klein. Permission is granted to make any number of copies of this document or any portion thereof, as long as no copy is sold for a price beyond the costs of copying and/or mailing it. All other rights are reserved by the author. Inclusion of a provider on this list should not be construed as an endorsement thereof. The author is not affiliated with any provider listed herein. --------------------------------------------------------------------- This is my attempt at a comprehensive list of companies, organizations and individuals offering products and services for 3D enthusiasts. The information has come from my own research as well as contributions from members of the "3d-photo" electronic mailing list (which itself appears as an entry below). It is intended to include only true stereoscopy -- not CAD/CAM software that maps 3 dimensions onto 2, and such. The list favors stereo photography somewhat, but it is intended to include all things stereoscopic, including holograms, random-dot stereograms, 3D movies and television, computer graphics, etc. I am always seeking new entries for the list, as well as updates to the ones already here. I am especially interested in correcting any wrong information contained here, as well as any typographical mistakes and badly formatted non-U.S.A. addresses and telephone numbers. If you can help, please send email to my address shown above, or send paper mail to me at: 9451-I White Pine Ct. Miamisburg, OH 45342 U.S.A. Thanks for any help! The date in parentheses at the end of each entry is the most recent date for which I know the address was correct. For some of the older dates, if you can verify that the address is still valid, I'll change the date. Text in quotation marks was provided by the provider itself. I have attempted to keep my own opinions and judgments out of the list. I've never had any dealings with most of the providers listed here, and I'm not affiliated with any of them. Most of these providers will send you their products and services catalog if you send them your address on a postcard. But many of them are quite small and don't make much money, so it might be good to send a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) with your request for info, especially if you are mailing from outside their country, or if the recipient is an individual rather than a company. The most recent version of this list may be retrieved by anonymous FTP from this Internet site: csg.lbl.gov (128.3.112.84) under this file name: pub/listserv/photo-3d/3d.prod.serv An asterisk (*) before a name indicates an addition or modification since the last version of this list. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20th Century Plastics P.O.
