CBS Incident Committee News Release No 18

This is a news update.

Because our nation-wide effort, a meeting is set up for October 18, 12:30pm
at CBS HQ. The parties have been invited are: Organizations of Chinese
American (OCA), a nation-wide Chinese Civil Rights organization which works at
government level; Committee of 100, a organization of prominent Chinese
American which includes Connie Chung herself as a member; MIT CSSA, IFCSS and
CBS Incident Committee. On the CBS side, there are the program producing
team, including Connie Chung herself. Committee of 100 and OCA are forcefully
to include two lawyers from Asian American BAR Association, and a commissioner
from US Commission on Civil Rights is also going to attend. As of this moment,
CBS has refused to accommodate the additional three participants. We are still
in the process to force CBS to swallow down the whole list, and probably a
total boycott of that meeting is on our table as the last resort.

CBS-IC vows to fight until the very last minute. Please stay tuned.
