0. The Fund
The Fund is a non-political, non-profit and independent organization.
It was initiated in 1991 and registered in October 1992 by a group of
Chinese and American student and scholar volunteers in North America.
Most of the Fund Officers are elected annually.

1. Purpose
The objectives of the Fund are to raise money from any available
sources to promote the education in China, especially to help rural
students, teachers and schools for better education.

2. Projects
We are collecting and compiling information on potential beneficiaries
in China and soliciting donations from all resources possible. We will
bridge the needs with the kind helpful hands in many possible ways.
Awards, scholarships and adopt-a-child's-educations are currently our
primary programs in the Fund. And your help in any forms to these
aspects are sought and welcome at any moment.

3. Membership
The Fund depends on your direct or indirect help for her success. We
sincerely hope you can become members of our fund, generously share
your ideas, talents, actively involve in the work of the fund, and
assume leadership roles in this noble cause. We are calling for more
people's participation to give the children the education they deserve.
A membership fee of US$20 is currently suggested for each individual.
Please fill out the Voluntary Registration Form and mail it with your
contribution to the Fund Treasurer or any other Fund Officers listed
       below.

4. Donations
Donations will be used to award the students, teachers or schools back
in China entirely according to donors's desires as specified in the
Voluntary Registration Form. Donors will be periodically informed of
the progress the Fund and the beneficiaries make.

All donations are tax-deductable IN USA. Your cancelled check is all
you need to justify a deduction. If the Fund has your regular mailing
address you will also receive a thank-you letter that will serve as a
convenient reminder in your tax files.
