One can also use the program to re-play games played in the ICCS server( telnet coolidge.harvard.edu 5555). It has the provisions of adding comments and variations to games. This program is useful in development of opening settings, end games, etc. If you've got Chinese MS-Win, the game records will be displayed in Chinese fonts. Requirements: MS Windows 3.1, 2MB H/D space. pkunzip to extract the compressed zip file. Instructions: 1. unzip the cchview1.zip file. 2. under Program Manager run the file SETUP.EXE in the directory where cchview1.zip was unzipped . This will setup the cchview program in C:\CCHVIEW by default. 3. double click the CCHVIEW icon will run the program. 4. Unfortunately the software doesn't come with a manual, but the functions are pretty self-descriptive. Other locations: 1. anon ftp from dec06.cs.monash.edu.au:/pub/oyang/cchview1.zip. 2.
