Resources and rave information on the internet
Note: All links open new windows.

-- The SERaves mailing list is the premiere source of information on raves in the North Carolina area, and includes a regular schedule of upcoming events. This link takes you to a page with information on how to subscribe. Beware: It's chatty. You may want to use the DIGEST option to reduce the barrage of messages that enter your mailbox.

-- The alt.rave FAQ is pretty old (last version circa 1994, I think) but contains some good information about the philosophies behind raving and some of the problems in the scene.

-- Hyperreal.org is a good all-around resource for rave information. Music, drug information, and a database of local events are included.

-- Carolina Spins is a new, North and South Carolina-based rave info site, with current events listings and streaming audio. (This site is not affiliated with 'Spins,' the Greensboro record store.)

-- If you're looking for drug information, check the FAQs, either on Hyperreal or another source, but keep in mind that they may not be the most accurate sources for information. You might also want to try the National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information. Their online publications section is a good place to start.

-- Have any links to suggest for this page? Email with your links to informational (not personal) pages. Feel free to post personal page links in the discussion forum.
