The Mighty Lumberjack

The lumberjacking competition requires strength, dexterity, agility and a little luck. The logroll was a popular attraction at the fair as contestants strove to see which of them could stay out of the water longest.
To help the lumberjacking contestants rally to victory, songs of lumberjacking were sung. You can listen to part of a lumberjacking song and sing along with the lyrics:
As I sat down one evening
Twas in a small cafe
An eighty-year-old waitress
To me these words did say
"Oh I see you are a logger
And not just a common bum
Cause nobody but a logger
Stirs his coffee with his thumb."
