On your mark...

When you envision men racing around a track in chariots, you may expect to see togas and Roman citizens, not sophisticated pieces of equipment and fine thoroughbreds.

Harness racing is a sport with growing popularity and lots of fast-paced excitement. On Tuesday, the races were delayed when two horses were injured in a wreck.
 There are 11 races every day at the fair, with jockeys competing for more than $27,000 in prizes.

Harness racing isn't the only kind of racing at the fair.

For the younger race fans, other animals were also raced, including ducks and pigs.
