Not that I condone this sort of behavior, but that is a sure fire way in
most police departments, to get your name on "the list."
Every department has one, it's reserved for continual trouble makers,
excessively annoying journalist's (who write or televise those cops
playing golf on duty stories), and of course people who make an attempt to
"police the police."
As I said, I don't condone it, don't like it myself, and am ashamed to admit
it, but it does exist.
Better advice: Anonymosly complain, by instead going directly to a city
council member or the like, *or better yet* call up one of those nosey
local TV Newspeople (if the infraction is serious enough). After all they
get *paid*
to have cops hate their guts, and have it out for them:)
