Surely you know your gas taxes don't pay for all the roads, traffic
lights, street lights, parking spaces, etc., that you as a driver use!
General taxes also subsidize you. You subsidize education, the military,
health care (you pay, directly or indirectly, for uninsured people who
get free care), food inspection, air travel, police and fire protection,
etc. That's not stealing -- that's what a society is formed to do!
