Uhm, well, no. There are no PUBLIC ROADS where 65 mph can be legally
exceeded, but there are other places.

Yaknow, the speedometer on my bike reads up to 170, but I rarely take it
above 110 or so. Hm. Or was that your point?

65 mph is not a safe speed on every road. Nor is 85 mph dangerous on
every road.

They'd lose millions in speeding-ticket revenues. I'd imagine the
insurance lobby would also have a thing or two to say about this.
