Museum Archives Section Meeting
From Saa2007
Museum Archives Section Web Site
Hi everybody!
I've been a member of the Museum Archives Section since even before it became a Section, when we were a Roundtable of just a couple of dozen museum archivists. I wanted to make a plug for it being a great (if not the best) place to find your niche at SAA. If it's your first or second annual meeting, you may still feel a little overwhelmed about where to go and who to pal around with, so know that the Museum Archives Section has always been a good place to start if you're a museum person (or hope to be). Yes, it'll seem like we all know each other -- we do -- but everybody I've ever met there has been the opposite of clic-y. A great group of folks, not so large that you'll get lost in the crowd and everybody really welcoming.
See you there, Deb Wythe (Brooklyn Museum)
