From Saa2007
I won't be at SAA 2007, alas, but count me in for any talk or action involving web2.0 technologies and tools applied in an archival context.
I'm active in the Rare Book and Manuscript Section of RBMS and the American Indian Library Association, and attend SAA when I have the opportunity and funds.
A few efforts that I've been involved in include:
African American Studies at the Beinecke Blog
American Indian Library Association Subject Access and Classification Committee wiki
I'm a member of the Yale Librarians Rock! facebook group, and also set up the Flickr group for American Indian Librarians.
I'm a big believer in using technology to open archival resources to researchers and to the public, and will be chairing a session at the 2008 RBMS Meeting in Los Angeles called "Blogging Boot Camp: A Primer in Special Collections and Collaborative Technologies".
