Hi Everyone-
My name is Tiah Edmunson-Morton and I am the Reference Archivist for the Oregon State University Archives. I've been here nearly a year, which means I finally feel relatively settled and don't panic when someone walks up with a question!
This will be my first SAA Conference, and actually is my first national level professional conference. I'm taking the Certified Archivist's Exam and part of a panel on Minimal Processing and Reference Implications-- a busy first 2 days!
In addition to theoretical discussions about the meaning of access services versus arrangement & description versus processing versus backlog, I am also keenly interested in social software and the ways archivists can use Web 2.0 tools to make our lives easier, our professional connections richer, and our users' experiences more meaningful. Though I have to admit, as enthusiastic as I can be about these tools, I'm an infrequent contributor to my own blog, Archival Musings...
Thanks to those who organized this site!
