[edit] Quick Lunches & Coffee Near the Fairmont

A "my maps" Google map displaying sandwich shops, deli's, gourmet and convenience stores near the hotel in blue, coffee shops in yellow. I'm not from Chicago, so no guarantees of quality, but when the last morning session breaks and everyone scatters looking for a quick bite, this might be handy.

[edit] House of Sushi and Noodles

I ate there for the first time last night. A bit of a wait and a little crowded, but the food was great. All you can eat for a reasonable price. But don't ask for more than you can eat. They charge you if there's food left on your plate (no kidding). I'd recommend it. It's a hike north from the Fairmont, so you'll probably want to take the bus (what we did) or the subway (el).

[edit] Leona's

Large portions, cheap, excellent service, good food and beer selections. Cab or train ride from the SAA hotels (Sheffield or Taylor St.), but worth it.
