I will be attending the "Driving Exhibitions with Oral History" pre-conference on Monday and "Analyzing and Improving Archival Websites" on Tuesday.
Professionally, I am very interested in what university archives are doing in the digital realm, especially with regard to digital or virtual museums. In addition, we have recently implemented a Archon/DigiTool combo that we are getting up and running. Also, we are doing everything we can to help to raise awareness of the program, but we have a long way to go. If anyone has any thoughts or insight with regard to these aspects of university archives, please let me know.
I don't know if I will get the chance to, but I would like to visit Haight Ashbury and other historic 1960s hippie, radical, progressive haunts. If anyone has any insight please contact me.
In addition to my responsibilities at FSU, I am the director of the Beer Drinking Pirate Archivists project in the Lone Arrangers Group (4 members), and also the co-president of the SAA Running Club (2 members). I will be in San Francisco from Sunday to Sunday. Additionally, please look me up if you are interested in assorted pirate activities (i.e., brewpubs) or running.
