Music: Romeo by Dolly Parton, et al.; Take It Back by Reba McEntire; or any song with similar rhythm

Start on Count: CWLDA states the start is on Count 32, but most clubs start on Count 33. The goal is for the chorus lyrics to be matched with the dance steps.
Position: Individual line dance—all dancers face same direction, heels together, hands on hips

Standard steps for gentleman and lady are identical.

1. Right foot step forward

2. Left knee lift until thigh is parallel to the floor, foot twists until toe points slightly left

3. Left foot step back 1/4 turn CCW

4. Right foot stomp to close to left foot

5. Right foot step right 1/4 turn CW and hips roll to the left

6. Left foot step to left and hips roll to the right

7. Right foot step left, only halfway to the left foot, and hips roll to the left

8. Left foot step to close to the right foot and hips roll to the right

Vine to the Right with Syncopated Steps

9. Right foot step to right

10. Left foot step behind right leg to the right

11-12. Right toe/ball of foot step right and pull left foot with the toe trailing to the left side to close to the right foot and lift left knee until thigh is parallel to the floor then drop right heel

Full Turn CCW

13. Left foot step left 1/4 turn CCW and raise right knee until thigh is parallel to the floor

14. Left foot pivot 1/4 turn CCW

15. Left foot pivot 1/2 turn CCW

16. Right foot stomp to close to left foot

Double-Time Steps

17a-b. Left toe touch diagonally forward and left, left foot step to close to right foot

18a-b. Right toe touch diagonally forward and right, right foot step to close to left foot

19a-b. Left toe touch behind right foot, left foot step to close to right foot

20a-b. Right toe touch behind left foot, right foot step to close to left foot

21a-b. Left toe touch to left while it points to right side and left foot step to close to right foot

22a-b. Right toe touch to right side while it points to left side and left foot pivots 1/4 turn CCW while right foot steps to close to left foot

23a-b. Left heel touch forward, left foot step to close to right foot

24a-b. Right toe touch backward, right foot close to left foot just above floor and hips roll to the left

25. Right toe/ball of foot step diagonally forward and right and hips roll diagonally forward and to the right

26. Right toe/ball of foot touch to close to left foot and hips roll diagonally backward and to the left

27. Right toe/ball of foot step diagonally backward and to the right and hips roll diagonally backward and to the right

28. Right toe/ball of foot close to left foot just above floor and hips roll diagonally forward and to the left

29. Right toe/ball of foot step right and hips roll to the right

30. Weight shift to ball of right foot while hips roll backward and then weight shifts to ball of left foot while hips roll to the left

31. Weight shifts to ball of right foot while straightening right leg and hips roll to the right

32. Weight shifts to the left foot while bending right knee slightly and hips roll to the left

Repeat Counts 1 to 32 until the end of song.
