State Employees Association of North Carolina District 19
Mission Statement
SEANC is a professional organization committed to representing employees of all North Carolina State agencies; dedicated to protecting and improving our rights and benefits; increasing visibility and public awareness of the services provided by North Carolina State employees; and encouraging high work standards and safe working conditions. SEANC District 19 serves all NC state employees in Orange County, North Carolina.
MEETING TIMES
District 19's monthly meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5:30pm in the OWASA building on Jones Ferry Road in Carrboro. All members of District 19 are invited to attend the monthly meetings and refreshments are served. Come and keep updated on the District activities as well as Legislative updates and State news. These meetings are a perfect place to ask questions and gather information on things that are important to you.
The Retiree Chapter of District 19 meets the 4th Tuesday of the month with a breakfast at Bob Evans' Restaurant on 15-501. All retirees are invited to attend. The retirees also plan day trips to visit such places as the zoo, museum, state fair, etc.
