THIRUPPAVAI
SWAPADHESAM
SREMATH PARAMAHAMSA VANAMAMALAI JEEYAR After underlining the nature of
various devotees in the sixth to fifteenth pAsuram of thiruppAvai, sri
vAnamAmalai jEyar swAmi coninues with the successive
pAsuram-s.
The sixteenth pAsuram: The gathered
srE vaishNavic ghOshti go on to awake the gaurd at the gate and the temple.
-nAyakanAi.
The seventeenth pAsuram: After
having been allowed inside, those inside like nandhagOpar are being awaken. The
above two pAsuram-s highlights the fact the those who seek to involve in
bhagwadh vishayam, should seek so at the behest of such souls.
ambaramE.
The Eighteenth pAsuram: The
devotees seek nappinnai pirAtti as purushakAram. It is thus enunciated that the
Lord's blessing is to be obtained through pirAtti's purushakAram. -vundhu
madha.
The Ninteenth pAsuram: nappinnai
pirAtti takes effort to open the door while the Lord stops her as He does not
want her to overtake Him in inviting the devotees. They again remind her their
presence. Thus, it is evolved that if pirAtti's purushakAram is sought, both He
and her rush to our rescue.-kuthu viLakku.
The twentieth pAsuram: Both Lord
krishNA and nappinnai pirAtti are called up together. It is therefore inferred
that the kainkaryam is to be done to the divine couple in their togetherness. --
