Subject: [Oppiliappan] re. Raghukaalam calculation during winter

Dear SriVaishnavas

One of my friend is living in Algeria

He has been advised by one of his "Vadhyarswamy"  that sunset time need not be taken into consideration while calculating  Raghukaalam etc. As per that swamy's explanation, when the sun rise is so late as in Algeria,  which is almost at 8 Am, and the sun  set time need not be taken into consideration,  then there is no Ragukalam at all for Sunday as well for Tueseday partly.???

How can this be possible??????? It is my feeling that the entire day time available should  be divided into 12 equal parts so that the Ragukalam etc. is available for all the days.  I may be Right or WRONG.

I seek the group member's to throw light on  this issue so that  it may be possible to get the correct solution.
