It is Immaterial, My Lord

EmperumAn is most compassionate and therefore is ready to absolve us from our sins and mistakes.

Not just condoning the mistakes but even relishing those is His hallmark -DhOsha BhOghyathvam.

The spotted deer has got lots of spots on it. Does it matter whether it is one more or one less. The fact remains that it is Spotted Deer.

It is immaterial. Likewise, AzvAr argues:

'Does it matter My Lord ! whether my mistakes are so much more or so much less. I am full of mistakes and You are ready to condone these. It is immaterial to count and see whether it is more or not'

'..vuhzhaikkOAr puLLi migai anRu kaNDAi..' 5.1.2 of PeriyAzvAr Thirumozhi.

A spot more or less on the deer is immaterial.

Therefore, akin to your natural auspicious quality, it does not matter to count my
mistakes-argues AzhvAr
